How it works
From the envelope on your desk to a funded way out
Six calm steps. The first one takes a minute and you can do it right now.
- 1
1. Read the clock
Use the debt letter triage tool to find your real deadline — 21 days for a DPN, statutory demand or bankruptcy notice, 28 days for a notice of intent to disclose, the hearing date for a winding-up application, or the date on your notice.
- 2
2. Tell us in about 60 seconds
The letter, the amount, what the business does and any property you or a related party own. There's no credit check when you first enquire.
- 3
3. A real person calls you
Someone who deals with ATO and creditor deadlines reads your enquiry and rings to understand the full picture, including other debts that could cause trouble later.
- 4
4. We map the routes
Refinance, a second mortgage or caveat loan, unsecured cash-flow funding, a consolidation or a funded settlement — matched to the deadline and to what the business can repay.
- 5
5. Documents and approval
Only once you decide to go ahead. We tell you exactly what's needed so nothing holds up the timeline.
- 6
6. The debt is paid directly
At settlement, funds go straight to the ATO, the creditor or the outgoing lender, so the pressure ends and the business carries on.
What makes this different from an insolvency firm?
An insolvency practitioner's role is to run a formal process — administration, restructuring or liquidation. Our role is to find out whether the business can avoid one, by paying out the debts that are forcing the issue. Sometimes a formal process is the right answer, and we'll say so. Often, a well-structured refinance means it never needs to happen. Read alternatives to voluntary administration for the data behind that.
How fast does it move?
As fast as the deadline requires and the details allow. The biggest delays are usually missing documents and slow answers, so the quickest files are the ones where the owner enquires the day the letter arrives and has the document pack ready. Use the triage tool to see your clock, then start your enquiry.
Common questions
Does enquiring affect my credit score?
No. There's no credit check when you first enquire. A credit check is only discussed once you've decided to go ahead with an option.
Will my details be sent to lots of lenders?
No. One team handles your enquiry. We don't spray your details across a panel, so you won't be flooded with calls.
Can you guarantee funding before my deadline?
No one honestly can. Timing depends on the security, the documents and how many days are left. What we can do is tell you quickly whether it's realistic, and move fast when it is.
What should I have ready?
The letter or notice, a payout figure, six months of business bank statements, your latest BAS and ATO statement, ID, and property details if you own any. Our debt rescue document pack guide has the full checklist.
